Three days ago was Luciana’s birthday. May 15.

In honor, a book, called, Luci’s big surprise.

Luciana Vega stared after out the window. Her friends had left for a so called dance class.

Her family also said that.

Luciana thought it had something to do with her birthday.

Luci’s mom had a tea cup still lying there. The cup had a little bit of tea left.

Then Luciana’s phone rang.

“Hey!” Luciana said.

“Hey Luci! So um….dance class started late so Ummm….we have to um stay.” Vi said.

“So many um. But ok.” Luci said.

Luci sighed her friends were supposed to hang out with her.

It was a sunny but chilly afternoon.

Again Luci was lonely.

Aggie was playing with Tasha.

They didn’t invite Luci.

At lunch, Luci sat alone while all her friends played together.

Eliana who was her enemy and friend wasn’t playing with her.
